Daisy & Hooper go to the vet

Saturday's Critters #221
Hooper's rabies shots were delayed, since he had a cold and an eye infection when we adopted him. Daisy was sue in March. Annabelle's best buy date is December, and she's been done.

It's amazing how different they are. Hooper, have resided in a pet store for weeks. He is outgoing. Daisy is more reserved around strangers.

Hooper was exploring the room, while we waited for the vet to come in. He hopped over to the counter, and quickly crunched on a dog biscuit, which had fallen beside the canister. Daisy stayed in her carrier, which, to her, implies safety.

Daisy did not budge, nor make a sound, when the vet gave her the needle. Hooper wanted to run away, and mewed loudly. Everyone was happy to arrive home!

Of course, we risk life and limb driving home. Reckless, stupid people, who don't care about the rest of the world. JB tells me in the years we've lived here, aside from idiots like this (who are many), he's been driven off the road several times, as oncoming, passing cars drive in his lane. I just drive straight at them.

Hello, you are a great pet owner making sure all your kitties are healthy.
They are all adorable, cute photos. I have had stupid drivers passing me on double lines, which is against the law. They take a chance with our lives and their own. Thank you so much for linking up your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

I once had a near death experience on hwy 7. I hit the shoulder in the nick on time. It's a good thing there was a shoulder to hit.

That shot of Hooper leaping is great - but the 'pawtrait' is frameable!!! YAM xx

We have to cross the 417 to get from home to town. The drivers there are NUTS! So many huge trucks run the red lights. I live in an area littered with gravel pits. Those truck guys are NUTS too. I've gotten to the point where I want to live in a small village and give up driving.
Nice action shot of Hooper leaping.

Oh, Jennifer -- your driving 'straight at them' makes me very nervous! Arrive alive! That's my motto! Your young tabby is a brave lad. So glad you adopted him!

Great timing catching Hooper coming off the counter. Those two would have been happy to get back home.

I couldn't handle pets in order to get them to do what the vets need.

Uuuummmm... We were on the wrong side once in New Zealand. I think it took 10 years off my life.

I'm amazed that Daisy stayed put while the vet gave the shot.
