Daisy and Dorah walkies

Daisy looked like she needed to do something. I just missed a photo of her doing 'bear', on her haunches, two front paws up. She was looking for a chipmunk, methinks.
I was setting off to harvest the trailcam SD cards, so off we went. I could hear Dorah wailing back in the forest, she wanted to come, too. Now, after Buster chased her so much, she is hesitant, but down she came. Daisy did hide in the grass (I know: white cat, green grass) and I warned her to leave Dorah alone. She looked at me, "Who, me?" and didn't listen, but Dorah took it really well. She sort of sloughed her off, like dandruff. I was really pleased.

Wild grapes, growing up through the trees. They'll be yummy food for critters soon!
Back home they required a bit of  rest! Daisy took the short cut up the hill, through the forest, and Dorah walked with me along the driveway. Daisy ran at her and almost put Dorah in a headlock, Dorah shook her off. Dorah is so NORMAL!

Daisy (white cat) snuck up on the couch, Annabelle's favourite spot when we're watching tennis! Happily, Daisy was a good girl. This is a breakthrough, as she's been insanely jealous the two years Annie's been with us!

In the back yard, I spotted Fred groundhog, who we haven't seen in ages. I imagine it's a young one, looking for a home. There are caves off in the backyard here, down into the gully, many rocks under the trees.

Oh Wow! I don't think I've ever seen a groundhog in the wild.

Maybe Daisy would like to come visit us. We have two chipmunks that have adopted us this year. They hang out under the bird feeders hoping for a morsel to drop their way. The blue jay usually is accommodating, so when they hear his cry they come running. So do the Juncos who prefer to eat off the ground. - Margy

Daisy definitely knows when she's being filmed!
