What a day in southeastern Ontario!

What a week it has been. I had my hair cut on Christmas Eve.

My daughter told me about Road Operations and Data Analysis features Track My Plow!

Numerous vehicular incidents, a fire in Rideau Ferry. Someone captured it on video.
I spotted a fire truck making it to the scene. Vehicles were having a hard time getting onto the slippery shoulder. The trucks were by frequently to salt and keep the roads clear. Our driveway was a slippery mess. They were skating on the street in Peterborough!

There was a 5-hour delay along the 401 into Toronto. Such a mess. The ice pellets stopped and by noon it was rain. I put out the rain gauge!

I had a lovely birthday breakfast. It was fabulous! Hubby is getting quite good at his birthday (November) camera.

Tigger can empty the last few inches of bird seed in 10 minutes!

Frosty totally melted. Face plant in the snow.

I've moved the trailcam. Fun shots.

Mr. Cardinal is getting easier to photograph. He's brought the Mrs., but I have been unable to photograph her.

When I think my birthday is in the middle of our winter in July, we don't get that freezing rain, our roads here don't get slick and close, although in the South Island they do. Hope today is a better day and you get to celebrate all over again.

Those deer do love the seed!

I was out and about yesterday, had a fall and ended up with a bruised hand and arm for my trouble.

Very treacherous weather. The best plan is to stay home.

That's a first for me, a deer at a bird feeder. Take care on those icy roads, but then I guess you're all pretty used to it at this time of year. Brrr!
