Deer in the yard

I have so much fun watching them. Hubby will often stand and eat his breakfast, staring out the kitchen window, watching their antics. I switched the trailcam from video to photos.
Then there is the one who did selfies!

The mourning doves arrived. I counted 24 of them in the front yard! I was surprised that the trailcam was sensitive enough to trigger it.

Here, they began going after my pumpkin. There was one buried, which they dug out. I took both and put them out under the trees by the feeders. You can see one began biting it, the other followed. They knocked it off onto the ground!

They use the driveway, often. I've been trying to capture images of other critters on the driveway, but no success. The coyote came by one year and peed on the seasonal planter.

Here is the king of the forest, Tigger, keeping order.

It's not all sweetness and light!

Down, beyond the meadow, the 2nd trailcam picked up three critters: a coyote, deer and rabbit.

Then there is the backyard! They were having a nap in the evening!

Tigger watches, wags his tail, waits for JB.

Wow, great trail cam pix! Tigger is so lucky to have made it through the hunting season! I put a pumpkin out in front of one of my trail cams and I got umpteen pictures and videos of coyotes peeing on it! No way anything is going to eat it now! I love trail camera trapping!

&*> I love how Tigger peers over the feeder rim just as JB comes into the house; close but not too close and that's just fine!!! The night shots give a truly mystical magical feel to these fine critters. Wonderful series... YAM xx

LOVELY! We used to have lots of deer close by the house. They would wait for Mike to head out with his bucket. When he would bang it and shake it, they would appear. As soon as he stepped away they were belly up to the buffet. Since we got the dog, the deer are at a distance.
