Shopping for the garden!

We went shopping at Whitehouse Perennials. The flowers were amazing, and require no narration.
What an amazing spot. The owner inherited it from her father, who died several years ago at age 90. Everyone I saw were hard-working grey-haired people, like me! What a group!

Funny story. The man in blue, above, was working his buns off. This entitled woman was ordering lilies from here and there. The workers were digging them up for her, and carting them up to the front. She said, "Oh, how could you not love working amongst all this beauty!" hinting that it wasn't hard work. They were sweating, and toiling, and obviously tired of this woman who was making them work even harder. She then brought her car around, having them load more plants, and blocked us in. Sigh. I bet she has peeps to plant them!

Back home...
Crazy busy on highway #7. The bridge is being repaired, and they are funneled into one line, with a stoplight.

Law and Orders had an explosion this year. They have rebuilt. What a time for incidents: fire, vehicular! Feb. 2016.

This quartet drove up. The female passenger had her bare feet up on the dash. With such heavy traffic, I don't think she's heard the warnings about what an airbag does to you when you have an incident and they smash your legs.

Safe at home, they were duly planted. We just arrived home from Toronto and Muskoka, and they survived our drought!

Whitehouse is quite the nursery, especially for daylilies. Should try that Laws and Orders someday but planned to stay cooped up in this heat for the most part for the next few.

Pretty plants and clearly the planters knew what they were doing for them to still be standing after a 'vay kashun'!!! YAM xx

Some nurseries are pretty fantastic with the line of plants they have. I hope the babe with her feet out the window does it in the winter!

Always enjoy a visit to a nursery, though we have no garden space left, so we`re not buying any more. Looks like they have a LOT of Day Lilies!

Beautiful nursery -- even though we don't garden I still like to visit a good one occasionally -- so far they have not charged me for the pictures I take.

People like that entitled 'queen' (I can't use the word my husband and I would actually call her) drive me crazy.
