Grandsitting: finale Friday

The day began with 'wine' for breakfast. Then I made them a smoothie. It didn't go over well. Sigh. Breakfast for me!

After a few Wild Kratts educational videos, We were outside by 10:30!
We used flour , balloons, and baby oil and made stress balls.

Grampa made a special trip into town to buy the girls a can of shaving foam each.

I had a foot massage, then they painted my toe nails. I found a tree frog in the umbrella, Iz grabbed it. Jos is a bit reluctant. First Iz put it up in the Hops vine, then she went back and put it into the planter. We had a picnic lunch, with 'purple wine!' The pool was made into a magic potion, with flowers from my garden.

We were outside from 10:30, until 2:30! JB went back into town fro groceries. We tidied the lower deck, gathered up the toys, watered the garden with the pool water, and dumped the rest.

Snack (juice and ice cream), another video and our day was done.
Mommy arrived after work, around 5:45. We had a pasta stir fry, and off they went. I miss them!

Our week with the kids:
Babysitting the grandkids July 2016 Days 1 and 2: Monday/Tuesday
Babysitting Grandkids Day 3 Wednesday
Babysitting Grandkids Day 4 Thursday

You girls are just having too darn much fun. I'm going to tell my daughter (she is a Grandma now you know) about the shaving cream -- it sounds like just the kind of thing she would love to do with the boys. The frogs and the crafts and the reading she has down pat already -- and they make slime out of cornstarch (I was lucky enough to be invited to a slime party last summer ;>)!!

Lots of fun, but I bet you will sleep for a week when they go home though.
