Guest Celebrity Doghouse Judges: Carol Anne Meehan (Blog News & local affairs, @MeehanCarolAnne, 1310 Radio) as well as Alan Neal (CBC Host of All in a Day).
Carol Anne interviewed lots of people, and did a video of the farm (see below).
Owners, Natalie Rowe and hubby, Gordon Campbell, both born and raised in Toronto, like me, run the hobby farm. You can watch and learn more here on Carol Anne's Vimeo.
They have an 86-acre farm, with adopted OSCPA rescue ponies, pigs, goats, a donkey, all of whom needed a home.
There were many volunteers, who all help them keep the place going, all volunteer with OSCPA. What a great spot, with wonderful animal lovers.
We participated in the silent auction, and watched the live one, run by Alan Neal. People came from near and far, both neighbours, people from Quebec. We made it a day trip, driving 93km to Chesterville, Alexandria for lunch (54km), then to Apple Hill to Bee Meadow Farm (20km) = 167km.
We came home with two cat beds, although the dog houses looked pretty good for our regular deer, Lil Orphan Annie!
Annabelle adores her new bed from Bee Meadow Farm silent auction. After she sniffed it, she went out and brought her mice friend in to enjoy it, as well. The mouse was promptly escorted outdoors!

We're on the video at 5:49!
