The season quickly changes...

Daisy helped me go out, in 25cm-deep snow, to grab a photo. I spotted coyote tracks, after a squirrel or rabbit. Our snow cover has gone from 25cm to 15 in only a few days.

Then, she decided to climb my 'totem pole.' She gets down just like a forester! No birds were harmed in the process.

Annabelle was sitting on the bench with me. There were a half dozen chickadees feeding. She whipped her head around to look at them and they scattered. None of them have caught a bird in 6 months. Daisy planted herself under the tree in the sun. The bird are too smart for them!

In the meantime, a foggy day Thursday. The goldfish pond melts.
And my vacuum issue... It wouldn't suck anything up. I changed the bag, still nothing. Then realized there was a bit of a blockage: car fur and a pipecleaner!

Our snow has all gone and the spring birds have returned. I'm sure the rest of your snow will vanish over the next couple of days.

White cats have an advantage in the snow for camouflage. Not so much the rest of the year. - Margy

With that many cats in the house, cat fur is bound to accumulate!

Love the totem pole photos!! Down here, a cool morning, almost fire lighting time, at 6C early on. Soon, you will have left the snow behind, and spring warmth will prevail.

I updated to bagless vacuum when I got to Scotland - sooooooooooo much better... and easier. It has a 'pet hair' booster function on it - in case I decide to populate the place!!! YAM xx

Spring seems to be coming quickly all over the country this year. Congratulations on being such a top notch handyman.

Every time I see your cats out in the snow I marvel -- can hardly believe that they love it so much. Fun pictures.

Daisy would really be camouflaged on the snow.
