November weather

Yes, I be improving, but still numerous symptoms. Strangely, with the delayed winter temperatures, my annual bout with viral asthma, sinusitis, and bronchitis has delayed itself a month. It is slowly easing its way through. There is a lot of it going around. So says the ER staff. There is something to that nice, cold, freezing weather to chilling bugs of all types.
I would happily bundle up and sit outside in the sun with a book, but that has been less frequent.
They predict freezing rain tomorrow. We had some last Friday night, but it amounted to little.
More rain than snow!

Nov. 2015 = 54.1 mm rain,           skiff of snow.
Nov. 2014 = 15 mm rain and    25.5 cm of snow.
Nov. 2013 = 68 mm rain and     20 cm snow.

Nov. 27

Lots of talk about Climate Change and El Nino. What a balmy morning it was. The froggies came out. Silly things.

Nov. 22

About 4" of snow in Central Ontario, so report my Muskoka friends. That Lake Effect snow! Nothing here. There were thousands without power from the snowfall and storm.

Nov. 20 Lake Effect snow!

Funny, funny weather. There is a storm moving in. We had -6 in the morning, then 10 in the afternoons. Rain, and snow and wind in Thunder Bay,

Rain in the a.m., none during the ceremony. We attended a wedding!

Nov. 7 – 8

Still many sans power in Ontario. About half seem to be out for another day, too.

Hello, luckily we had a warm November. No snow to be seen, at least by me. I think the western part of Maryland in the mountains had some snow already.

I hope you feel better, take care and have a happy Monday.

My daughter is also knocked down by that darn respiratory bug. We need a good cold snap to clear the air.

Love those data maps and figures, and good news that you are a LITTLE better, Wrap up well, cover your mouth and nose when outside, breathe deeply when inside, and just a thought. Does breathing in an inhalation of camphor and menthol help at all? Chest rub, a dollop onto steaming water, towel over your head and breathe in!!! Never mind what you look like, if it helps, go for it. Hugs to Mr J for holding the fort and providing chicken soup or anything else he has prepared.

Eat your vitamins! Get a flu shot! Don't suffer with this crap. I remember the school cold every Sept. Then I'd bring it home.

Of course we'll get hammered for this in January through April.

We made it through our Los Angeles visit without getting sick this year. We aren't used to being around so many people and I think our immune systems aren't as good as when we were educators and around sick kids and adults all the time. Glad you are getting better. - Margy

Hope you feel better soon

The first half of November here was mild and sunny, the second half wasmuch less pleasant, though still often unseasonably warm
