Paint Party Friday sketch

My Tuesday client was taking a nap, I did some sketching. Our fish tank, whose pump leaked last week, is now fixed. I think it was just a loose connection. I've been checking it daily.
Version 1
I scanned it, but the colour comes out a bit fuzzy. A little bit of play in Graphic Converter....with the addition of a photo stamp of a real mouse, as well as some colour! I totally ignored the curtains. I used a couple of tools I had not used before. It's a learning curve!
The yellow/gold is one of our fridges. actually being black. The previous owners installed two bar fridges, removing the regular full one. It increases counter space. We have a freezer in the basement. They were Brits.
Version 2

I worked from my memory, which has been a bit wonky in my old age! (Not to mention the alignment!) The fish tank is a hexagon, containing 60 gallons. Daisy loves the light, which keep her warm on these cold days. She is only 7 lbs., and hasn't broken the light. Oliver broke two or three tank lights in his day.
Happy, warm Daisy

Where the refrigerator was...
I installed a bread shelf

Nice work, Jennifer. The cats must think to themselves on occasion of ways to get in that tank.

lovely sketches Jenn! What sweet kitties-and I LOVE your bird pics on the side bar!! Lucky you to spot some owls-I so want to see one in my yard...just saw my first robin today-despite the 5 1/2" of snow we have and it isn't done yet here in PA-how dare this happen on the first day of Spring?
Happy PPF!

Glad the tank got fixed... and version 2 is my fave.

Meanwhile we had an eclipse here. I missed it due to the sky falling in. Well, when I say sky, I mean the bathroom ceiling. Yup. 2am crash bang dust-storm... Meant I fell asleep when everyone else was getting ready for the event!

Hey ho... YAM xx

we used to have a large fish tank. It was so calming just to watch. I hated cleaning it out though..........
