Happy March: warm sunshine and walkies

I'm glad February is a short month! I'm ready for some warmer temperatures, more typical of March.
Sady isn't well, she's just not herself. Her cheek is swollen on one side. It's worrisome when a pet is ill, as many know. Chronic rhinitis, sneezing, drippy nose. Poor girl. She is 10 years old this year.
The other cats are fascinated with Sady, they must sense she is sick, even though she doesn't like any of them!

Daisy was desperate to go walkies in the snow. Buster is more inclined to sit and watch from the sunny front deck.
We watched the turkeys
make their way.

She is determined to walk in snow,
following the deer path.

Check out the pouffy tail!

Daisy is bound and determined to go her own way. She had a tree climb fail, but loves walking with me, often leading the way.
Meanwhile, back at the house, Buster had a nap with me in the warm sunshine. No walks for him!
The front porch hugs the sun's warmth to itself, keeping us enfolded in its sanctuary, where we sit and watch the birds.

Awww poor Sady. I hope this new issue will pass quickly but swelling is indeed worrisome. Poor baby.

Dear Sady, does not sound like she is at all well, and Daisy, how she manages in that deep snow, maybe she keeps in the trodden paths.

Sorry Sadie is sick ... ten is not that old for a cat, maybe she needs some medicine to perk her up. I can see Daisy being a snow lovin' cat ... she practically matches it. In fact I had to click to enlarge to be sure that was her I was seeing in the picture ... and I am coming to your house for dinner (if you don't mind)That stew looks yummy ...

Since Feb. was so lousy we may get some rotten weather in March too. I hate to rain on your party.

Daisy is very brave. I'm sorry about Sady. And Buster is more like how I'd be in that weather.

Daisy insists on walks, although Buster has been reluctant.
The other day, -20 C., I looked at her, falling behind, and said, "Daisy, if you want to go back, you should. It's terribly cold on wee paws." She turned around and went back!
