Sady had to go back to the vet

Poor Sade. Back to the vet. Hubby brought them a card and candies. Another man, in the truck, brought them a half dozen coffees! What a wonderful Christmas spirit in the air!

She's still got the drippy nose with sneezles. Sady had a shot today. We'll see if this kills any bacteria. She won't take pills.
It was funny getting her into the carrier. I began by giving her a nice brush and getting her all soft and mushy. I left the room to fetch the carrier. JB grabbed his gloves and quietly came up behind her. She was gazing out the window at her birds. It wasn't pretty but we stuffed her into the carrier.
Getting her out was as difficult. The tech weighed her. Sady was 12.3 lbs., although we had to weigh her in the carrier. sigh. Back legs braced to prevent us, she thought, from peeling her out.

Dr. Sarah was there. She's been working on Sady's file for a month. It's a mystery. Drippy nose.
Once there, Sady was my pal and tucked herself into the crook of my arm.

Once Sady had her shot, we popped her back into the carrier. Sarah asked if we were interested in another cat. Annabelle. Really. We have 4 cats. Annabelle is a rescue cat, not doing well in a barn. Sarah likes cat hats. She is a character! Sady was in the carrier. Annabelle growled at her. She's a survivor.

Sady's going to need a few days to feel less resentful!
