Book Review: The Third Rule of Ten

This is a wonderful book, the third in a series! I truly enjoyed it. It is unusual,
in that it is co-authored!  The plot is excellent, and the main character is quite intriguing, for more info you can read in the publisher's blurb. below. I found it unique, in that they incorporate spirituality in a mystery novel, and Tenzing Norbu, the detective, is quite human and humane. It is a great read. I am going to buy the first two books, and then wait for the 4th!

When some writers create a character of the opposite sex, sometimes you find that they do not quite ring true. This doesn't happen with male and female co-writers. One author is a relationship expert, and the self-reflection of Norbu I found quite thoughtful. Certainly, in our macho world, his conflict between his inner spirit and the work he does with the bad guys, is intriguing. The characterizations were excellent. Great setting and details.

A couple of quotes, which tickled my fancy:
"Her husband passed pretty early on, but that gal didn't miss a beat. She started a born-again school up here so her two kids could avoid learning about dinosaurs and monkeys..."
"I never cease to be amazed by the tendency of the super-rich to insist on absolute promptness from others, while having no problem making everybody else wait."
