I found a dying blue jay

It looked well-fed
'Twas so sad. It was hiding in behind a flower barrel in the cold. With four cats patrolling, I didn't think it fair to let it run about in the dark.
Instead, I caught it, and put it into the shed for the night.
I figured if it died, I would know that the cats didn't go after it.

If it was alive, I would be happier letting it go in the morning's warmth of the sun. It was unable to fly, and was very stressed. Pretty ticked off with me, too.
The next day, I went in and it was dead.

It tried to bite me!
Colours are amazing
Its claws are interesting

Tucked it into the shed
We have a lot of animals we find on the property.
I like to take the opportunity to photograph them.

It looked  a bit grumpy

I left it safe, with some bird seed.

so sad. Once I found an injured mourning dove, took it to the wildlife centre, and they ended up putting it down. Likely what was best for it.
