Snowy critters: deer and purple finch

snowy day!
Poor Bambi! Covered in snow. Thankfully, they have fur coats. Often, it's self-inflicted, as they chew on the White Pine needles, bringing down the snow on their faces!
Love those brown eyes!

We've had many birds at the feeder (Blue Jay, Chickadee, Nuthatches, Woodpeckers, Junco, Goldfinch) but here is a 'new' and most recent visitor. They sit in the Catalpa tree, waiting in some invisible queue until their turn at the feeder.

Saturday's Critters #10Hello and happy weekend everyone. It's time for my Saturday's Critter party. I hope to see you and your critters there too. It has been an awful week here with snow, ice, freezing rain and a day with no power. I am trying hard to catch up with the post and leaving comments.

I always love seeing your deer. It is cool they are regular visitors in your yard. Pretty shots of the finches. Thank you for linking up to Saturday's Critters. Have a happy weekend!
