Snowshoeing on the wetland

When I snowshoed in the wetland, there were very few tracks. The snow is deep, and dangerous for skinny deer legs.

What a glorious day for a walk on snowshoes. The sun was warm. There were few critters about, only a couple of birds. The sun danced on the snowflakes, which sparkled with delight.
I really needed the break.

The wetlands are very beautiful in the snow.

That looks really fun. I would like to try snowshoeing sometime.

I was thinking the same thing you said in your last line when I first saw the post come up... I am so glad you are giving yourself time for breaks with exercise and fresh air. And I hope your sweet husband is feeling better and will be all well by the time spring comes.

I kinda think the 'stick' is a tree eaten by a deer, or perhaps earlier in the winter, by a porcupine or something, Beth. I don't really know!
