It's the apocalypse!

How did I get up here?
That's what Dorah thinks. She meowed her discontent in the video below.  We had a nice outdoor play in the backyard yesterday. You know it's important to get the kids outside every day to play!

They like the tree house and the old pine trees, especially. They prefer the high places, as the fence and the tree branches are warmer on those little toe pads.
Yesterday it looked like this: just a dusting of snow.

This looks like a duel, pacing away from each other!

Giant leap for kittenkind!
No! I want back up with you, Daisy!

Buster atop the gate, Dorah tried to climb up
and had an embarrassing fall!
This is the purrrfect climbing tree!
I love you, Mummy!

Today it looks like this: with a big dump of snow from a Colorado Low. Heavily laden trees.

Did you see the radar? Just an amazing dump of snow and/or rain.

Wee Dorah, the Explorer, meowed all the way to shelter under the tree.

Oh, what fun. I enjoyed the photos and the video today, Jenn. Almost like being there! You never know, we might come to visit some day, but probably not in winter. LOL

The rains and snows came and sucked what colour was left from the landscape. It all looks black and white now.

Your cats have an awful lot of fun.

Your cats have a super place to play. So you get a great dump of snow! Remember last year?

When I left Toronto on Friday at 11 AM, there was no sign of snow. But there was a lot of the wet stuff on the ground by the time we got around Belleville...
