Red squirrel, turkey, deer: Rain, snow, sleet, hail – climate change or normal cycles?

red squirrel: feed me!

I don't know.

All I know is that we have grumpy cats.
Poor old Buster wants out to watch the blue jays and mourning doves by the feeder, and the red squirrel that is 'stealing' bird food!

After two days of freezing rain, ice pellets, and snow, the cats go out, shake off their paws, and come back in!

But Buster hollers and scratches to get out.

This deer looked so miserable!
The wild turkeys are hollering down in the lower meadow. Not sure what that is about.

You can hear their turkey songs on the video below, as well as the chickadees!
Shoveled this yesterday, Thursday.
It's back today, Friday, followed by a dump of snow!

All the wildlife in your area is aplenty. I especially like the snowy image of the deer.

Beautiful captures, Red Squirrels are so rare these days having been taken over by the Grey variety in numbers. Apparently we have a Black variety here in Scotland, but I have yet to see one. Thanks for sharing:)
