Let us cheer the weary traveler

A massive trip to south eastern Ontario, looking for a new home!

The first song, 'Let us cheer the weary traveler', by the Nathaniel Dett Chorale. I miss my days of choral singing.

Then, 'Travel Song', by the Kanenhi : lo Singers, of Wahta.ca.

This in honour of those who made room on ancient lands for the weary white settlers looking for a home.

So you are moving from Muskoka really? I read your post over there the other day about 'not from here" but I failed to realize you were actually picking up and moving. (Sometimes I read too much too fast...)

Anyway,a Good luck! It should be great to be near those grandbabies, but a big move anyway....

So 'My Muskoka' will be no more ?

Will you not miss this wonderful place?

@Sallie, it is true. It is time. I miss the kids. I miss my friends.

@Weaver, it *is* exciting!

@Friko, I will keep My Muskoka up, methinks. We intend living a rural life, still. I'll have to see how it plays out! Muskoka is getting such attention with the G8.
Absolutely will miss it, Friko. I've lived in Toronto, Eastern Ontario: Nepean, North Gower, Osgoode, Manotick. But we can visit Muskoka. There are many places that will accept you as a guest. While we cannot afford Deerhurst, where the G8 is being held, we can afford many of the other resorts, like Nancy's Bondi Village. They have cottages big enough for us and the kids and grandkids, and we will do that, for sure.
There are new memories to be created!
