MTM - Balls Falls in Niagara

Balls Falls visitor centre
It was with great delight that we visited this ecofriendly tourist spot, Balls Falls, in Niagara in ♪♫ summertime when the livin's easy.♫♪♪♫ It hearkens back to glorious summer weather and visiting with our actor son in Niagara-on-the-lake.

This park is 101 hectares, 149 acres of lush, green fMalivoire Estateorest. The photo was taken in the interpretation centre. There is a ton of info on geology, geography, land formations and has lots of murals to explain the falls. You can do a snapshot and e-mail it to yourself. How cool (& hightech) is that?

The place offers hiking trails, and wonderful treks that challenge you through flora and fauna.

We finished our trip with a visit to a winery, Malivoire Estates. It was a beautiful spot, too.

Below is the iMovie I made of the trip. I didn't want to post ALL the photos I took, but give you an opportunity to cruise through them. The signage, the education centre and the museums are wonderful.

Wow, that looks like a great place to visit. The only time I was ever in the Niagara region I was 8, I do remember the falls but not a whole lot more.

This is my first visit, but thanks for joining MTM. I can see you've got a keen eye for nature, and frankly, though Niagara looks lovely, my favorite image is your awesome, snowy squirrel banner on top. I'd come back just for that!

If you speed through the area you can say I was balls to the wall in Balls Falls.

Sometimea I can't control my inner thirteen year old self.

Would you believe the first time we went to Niagara we couldn't find the Falls.

Not sure about the wool, Chris! Must have been an economic crisis back then, too!

Travis, you are such a great kid at heart! (Better than a dirty old man!)

Pattinase, I have a friend who drove past Toronto on the 401. Anything is possible. He now has a GPS! Yay technology.

That's such a pretty area. I visited Niagara Falls once and we had lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was in December, though, so there was lots of snow on the ground. The sun came out though and it was a beautiful sight.
